About Mandy Rain

Amanda Rose Moseley(born December 20, 1993) better known by her stage name Mandy Rain, is an American recording artist, dancer, and actress. Rain started her acting career at a young age. In 2007, Rain auditioned for Star Camp, a Nickelodeon television show that focuses on the making of a super star musical group. Rain was chosen along with seven other kids to join the show and The Giggle Club. The band disbanded shortly after the series' finale. Shortly afterwards, The Giggle Club's producer Nick Cannon decided to groom Rain for a solo career. Cannon started bringing Rain to recording studios to record songs while he was drafting a show for her called The Diaries of Mandy Rain. After hearing one of the tracks Rain had recorded, Cannon got inspired by it and decided to start drafting a different show about three private school girls. After several months, Canon formed School Gyrls. The original line up featured Rain, Monica Parales, and Jacque Pyles. In the summer of 2009, School Gyrls starred in a movie Canon had written called School Gyrls which premiered on Nickelodeon on February 21, 2010. Shortly afterwards, they released a self-titled album School Gyrls. Later that year, they also released a holiday album titled A Very School Gyrls Holla-Day. Rain and Pyles left the group shortly after the release of the holiday album to focus on their solo careers.

A year after the disbandment of the School Gyrls, Rain signed to Empire Distribution and released her debut single "Boogie". Her debut EP Riot was released in January 2015.

Amanda Rose Moseley (née le 20 décembre 1993), mieux connue sous son nom de scène, Mandy Rain, est une artiste de disque, danseuse et actrice américaine. Rain a commencé sa carrière d'actrice à un jeune âge. En 2007, Rain a auditionné pour Star Camp, une émission télévisée de Nickelodeon qui se concentre sur la création d’un groupe musical super star. Rain a été choisi avec sept autres enfants pour rejoindre l'émission et le Giggle Club. Le groupe s'est dissous peu de temps après la finale de la série. Peu de temps après, Nick Cannon, producteur du The Giggle Club, a décidé de préparer Rain pour une carrière solo. Cannon a commencé à emmener Rain dans des studios d'enregistrement pour enregistrer des chansons alors qu'il préparait une émission pour elle intitulée The Diaries of Mandy Rain. Après avoir entendu l'un des morceaux enregistrés par Rain, Cannon s'en est inspiré et a décidé de commencer à créer une émission différente sur trois filles de l'école privée. Après plusieurs mois, Canon a formé School Gyrls. La formation originale comprenait Rain, Monica Parales et Jacque Pyles. À l'été 2009, School Gyrls a joué dans un film écrit par Canon intitulé School Gyrls, qui a débuté sur Nickelodeon le 21 février 2010. Peu de temps après, ils ont sorti leur album intitulé School Gyrls. Plus tard cette année-là, ils ont également publié un album de vacances intitulé A Very School Gyrls Holla-Day. Rain et Pyles ont quitté le groupe peu de temps après la sortie de l'album de vacances pour se concentrer sur leur carrière solo.

Un an après la dissolution de School Gyrls, Rain signa chez Empire Distribution et sortit son premier single "Boogie". Son premier EP, Riot, est sorti en janvier 2015.
